🔼 One Round Down. No. 11 Virginia women’s golf finished the first round of the NCAA Charlottesville Regional on Monday, sitting in fifth place at 2-over. Megan Propeck led the way at 1-under, good for seventh place after 18 holes.

Tuesday’s second round gets underway at 8 a.m. The Hoos will be paired with Florida and NC State. Those teams will begin their second round at 8 a.m. from the 10^th tee.

🔼 Young And Talented. Virginia men’s tennis had five underclassmen competing in the first and second rounds of the NCAA Tournament last weekend, which both ended in 4-0 sweeps for the Hoos.

Don’t be fooled, though, by the Hoos’ collective lack of college experience.

“Listen, all these guys have played in junior [grand] slams, all these guys have played in big events,” head coach Andres Pedroso said Sunday at the Virginia Tennis Facility at the Boar’s Head Resort.
