š¼ Got The Call! Virginia Director of Athletics Carla Williams has announced the elevation of Kevin Cassese as the Hoosā head menās lacrosse coach!
Cassese has spent the last three seasons (2024-26) as UVAās associate head coach and offensive coordinator. He helped guide the Cavaliers to Championship Weekend in 2024 and most recently capture the programās 20th ACC championship in 2026. This past season, Casseseās offense led the nation in assists per game (9.59) and finished fourth and led the ACC in points per game (23.65).

š¼ Give It A Theme! Virginia athletics announced its theme dates for the 2026 football season on Tuesday!
The Cavaliers will host six games at Scott Stadium this fall beginning with the home opener against Norfolk State on Friday, Sept. 11.

š¼ All The All-Americans! The Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced its All-Americans on Tuesday, and Virginia menās and womenās tennis were well-represented!
Dylan Dietrich, Keegan Rice and Mans Dahlberg were honored on the menās side, with Melodie Collard, Annabelle Xu, Vivian Yang and Martina Genis Salas earning recognition on the womenās side.
