🔼 Tee Time. Virginia men’s golf is in Carlsbad, Calif., this weekend, teeing it up at the NCAA Championships at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa.

The Hoos will play three rounds of stroke play today through Sunday, after which the top-15 teams will advance for a fourth round of stroke play on Monday. The top-eight teams after Monday’s round will advance to match play.

⛳️ PREVIEW: Virginia To Make Third-Straight NCAA Championship Appearance On Friday

🔼 All The Acclaim. Virginia men’s lacrosse standouts Ben Wayer and Griffin Schutz earned another honor on Thursday — Wayer was named a Third Team All-American by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association, while Schutz earned an honorable mention nod.

🔼 Double Dose. Virginia women’s lacrosse had a pair of standouts earn All-American honors from the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association on Thursday — Kate Galica was named a First Team All-American and Madison Alaimo was named to the third team!

🔼 Tune In. In her fourth year at UVA, head women's basketball coach Amaka Agugua-Hamilton has a roster that includes eight newcomers, seven of them transfers, and she's high on her team's potential.

🔼 Hoop Dreams. She sits a couple of seats down from the head coach, shouting direction as the defensive coordinator for a team in the penultimate round of the NBA playoffs. 

Jenny Boucek’s path to this position – assistant coach of the Indiana Pacers – has been guided by a two-word question echoed from her childhood through her time as a student-athlete at the University of Virginia and beyond.
