🔼 Game One Won! No. 8 seed Virginia baseball picked up a win in its ACC Championships opener on Wednesday, beating No. 16 seed Duke, 6-4, in Charlotte, N.C.!
Jake Weatherspoon and Zach Jackson both drove in two runs for the Hoos, while Henry Zatkowski earned his eighth win of the season after tossing six innings and punching out four.
Virginia is back in action today, taking on top-seeded Georgia Tech at 11 a.m. from Truist Field.
🔼 Ticket Punched! Top-seeded Virginia men’s golf has punched its ticket to the NCAA Championships after tying for the top spot on the leaderboard at the NCAA Winston-Salem Regional at 36-under par!
Ben James won his second consecutive NCAA Regional and made history in the process, with his 54-hole score of 19-under setting a new NCAA record.

🔼 Welcome Aboard! Virginia Director of Athletics Carla Williams announced yesterday that Cody Gougler has joined the department as the deputy athletics director for external operations.
Gougler arrives at UVA after spending the last five years at Boise State as the deputy athletic director for external affairs and BroncoPro chief administrative officer.
