🔼 Game 1 Won. Virginia baseball got its three-game series at Virginia Tech off to a good start on Thursday, beating the Hokies 12-2 to extend its win streak to seven games.

Eric Becker drove in three runs for the Hoos, while Jacob Ference and Harrison Didawick both drove in a pair. Jay Woolfolk tossed eight innings, allowing just five hits and striking out six.

🔼 Ready For Regionals. No. 2 seed Virginia softball begins its NCAA Tournament run today, playing No. 3 seed North Florida in the first game of the NCAA Columbia Regional in Columbia, S.C.

The Ospreys are 45-13 overall this season and went 22-2 in Atlantic Sun play, winning the conference tournament in Oxford, Ala.

🔼 Elite Eight. No. 7 Virginia men’s tennis has made it to Waco, Texas, set for a matchup against No. 2 TCU today at 5 p.m. in the NCAA Quarterfinals.

The Horned Frogs are 25-3 overall this season and made it through Big 12 play undefeated at 8-0. TCU has wins against Abilene Christian, No. 24 Oklahoma and No. 15 UCF so far in the NCAA Tournament.

Paul Chang Claims Individual Title, Virginia Advances To NCAA Championship. Chang bested BYU’s Cole Ponich by three strokes and was 10-under in the 54-hole competition. He shot a final round 70 to cruise to his first collegiate victory. His total score of 206 (68-68-70) was tied for the second lowest ever by a Cavalier in regional competition (Ben Kohles – 2012).
