🔼 Setting The Standard. According to Virginia men’s lacrosse head coach Lars Tiffany, defensive midfielder Noah Chizmar defines grit and leadership.
After originally committing to play at Marquette, he found his way to Virginia, where he’s made a major impact on the Hoos.

🔼 Give Me Liberty. Virginia softball will look to keep its winning ways rolling today with Liberty in town for a 7 p.m. contest at Palmer Park.
Tuesday’s game will be the second between the Hoos and Flames this season, with Virginia winning 3-1 in Lynchburg back on March 26. Eden Bigham tossed 5.2 scoreless innings in relief that day to earn the win, and RBI doubles from Bella Cabral and Macee Eaton did the majority of the damage on offense.
🔼 Stay Hot. Right off another series win against a top-10 opponent, No. 10 Virginia baseball is at home again today for a 6 p.m. first pitch against VCU.
The Rams are also in the middle of a successful season at 22-10 and have won five straight, including a sweep of Davidson last weekend.
🔼 Room To Move. No. 12 Virginia men’s golf sits in sixth place after the opening two rounds of the Lewis Chitengwa Memorial at Birdwood Golf Course, shooting rounds of 7-under and 11-over to sit at 4-over.
Ben James turned in the low scorecard for the Hoos, shooting a combined 3-under over his two rounds. He sits in eighth place heading into Tuesday.
🔼 One Up, One Down. No. 23 Virginia women’s golf split a pair of matches on the first day of NC State’s Wolfpack Match Play event, taking down Coastal Carolina 4-1-0 before falling to North Carolina 3-2 in the championship bracket semifinals.
The Hoos will face top-seeded Wake Forest today with an opportunity to place third at the event with a win.
