🔼 Trick And Treat. Three Hoos finished with hat tricks to lead No. 12 Virginia women’s lacrosse to an 18-12 win at VCU on Wednesday.
Ashlyn McGovern scored five goals, while Rachel Clark and Mackenzie Hoeg both scored three times. Aubrey Williams matched a career high with 15 draw controls, and now holds the UVA record with 304.
🔼 For The Commonwealth. Virginia softball starts a three-game series against Virginia Tech today in the newest edition of the Smithfield Commonwealth Clash.
Virginia (25-11, 6-6 ACC) has won seven of its last eight games overall, and sports a 16-3 record at home this season. The Hokies (29-8) come into the matchup ranked #13.
🔼 Hoos vs. Hokies. No. 9 Virginia women’s tennis plays host today to Virginia Tech in the Smithfield Commonwealth Clash.
The Hoos (15-4, 8-2 ACC) moved back into the top-10 of this week’s ITA team rankings and have won nine of their last 10 matches. Virginia Tech comes into the match at 10-10 overall and 1-9 in the ACC.
🔼 Awards Roundup. Several Virginia athletes earned awards this past week.
Ben James was named ACC Co-Golfer of the Month, Natasha Subhash was named ACC Women’s Tennis Co-Player of the Week, and Rowing’s Varsity Eight was named ACC Crew of the Week.

⚔️ Four members of the Virginia women’s soccer program have been called to training camp with the U.S. U-20 and U-19/U-18 Youth National Teams. Maggie Cagle, Jill Flammia, Yuna McCormack, and Victoria Safradin will all participate.
⚔️ Several former Virginia women’s soccer athletes are making their mark in the NWSL this season. From game-winning goals to comebacks years in the making, the Hoos are making us proud.
