🔼 Countdown Continues. Woke up this morning one day closer to Virginia’s Blue & White Spring Game. What a way to start the day!
Need a taste of how spring ball is going? Offensive line coach Terry Heffernan recently spoke about his big men in the trenches.
🔼 From High School To Hoos. Tony Muskett, a three-year starter at quarterback at Monmouth, entered the transfer portal last fall. After weighing his options, he chose to attend Virginia.
Nobody was happier than wide receiver Ethan Davies, who played with Muskett at West Springfield High. He brought Muskett up to the UVA coaching staff after the quarterback entered the portal.
🔼 Extinguished Flame. The Hoos got back in the win column Tuesday night at Liberty, taking care of the Flames by a score of 4-1.
Freshman Cullen McKay earned his first career start and worked three innings on the mound. Seven UVA pitchers combined for 12 strikeouts in the game. Griff O’Ferrall went 4-for-5 and scored two runs, while Ethan Anderson went 3-for-5 with a run scored and an RBI.
🔼 Scorch The Nets. The No. 12 Virginia women’s lacrosse team travels to Richmond today to close out its non-conference schedule against VCU.
This will be the third time the two schools match up against one another, both previous meetings ending in double-digit wins for the Hoos.
🔼 Wolfpack Winner. UVA women’s golf rounded out the Wolfpack Match Play with a win over Louisville on Tuesday, 3-2.
Megan Propeck (4&2), Maline Kraus (2&1) and Celeste Valinho (1 Up) all registered wins on the final day of competition.

Shooters Shoot. Virginia women’s lacrosse’s Ashlyn McGovern, recently named a Midseason All-American by Inside Lacrosse, has scored 44 goals in 12 games this season.
Where does that 3.67 goals per game average land her amongst her Division-I peers?

⚔️ Former Virginia safety and current NFL player Rodney McLeod recently spoke with Anna Katherine Clay’s media studies class, “Athletes, Activism, and the Media.” McLeod spoke on his time as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles, when a rescinded invitation to visit the White House turned the locker room into a media frenzy.
