📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Clash On The Court. It’s rivalry time for No. 2 Virginia men’s tennis, as it travels to Blacksburg today for a Smithfield Commonwealth Clash showdown with Virginia Tech at 3 p.m.

The Hoos are 16-4 on the season and carry an eight-match win streak into today’s contest, while the Hokies sit at 9-7 overall and 2-6 in ACC action.

🔼 Late Push. No. 15 Virginia baseball broke a 0-0 tie against Old Dominion with one run in the seventh and three more in the eighth to win 4-0 in a weather-delayed game at the Dish on Tuesday.

Luke Hanson’s two-out RBI single broke the scoreless tie in the seventh, and Henry Ford’s two-RBI triple in the eighth gave the Hoos some cushion.

Eight different Virginia pitchers combined to allow just two Old Dominion hits in the win.

🔼 Inside The Commonwealth. Bragging rights are also on the line for Virginia women’s lacrosse today, as VCU comes to Charlottesville for a 6 p.m. contest.

The Rams are 4-8 on the year, and 4-4 in their last eight games after dropping their first four of the season.

🔼 Smell The Azaleas. Virginia women’s golfer Amanda Sambach is all set to make her fourth appearance at the Augusta National Women’s Amateur this week.

The 72-player field will play the first 36 holes over two days at Champions Retreat Golf Club in Augusta, Ga., before playing a practice round at Augusta National on Friday and final round on Saturday.

🔼 Deal Inked. Former Virginia men’s soccer captain Leo Afonso has signed a first-team contract with Inter Miami CF for the 2024 Major League Soccer season!
