🔼 Survive And Advance. No. 6 Virginia women’s lacrosse is moving onto the ACC semifinals, thanks to a thrilling 13-12 win over No. 14 North Carolina, the Hoos first win over the Tar Heels since 2014.
Jenna Dinardo, Kate Galica and Mackenzie Hoeg all recorded hat tricks for the Hoos, and Mel Josephson racked up 11 saves.
Virginia will now face top-seeded and No. 4-ranked Syracuse in the semifinals on Friday.

🔼 Playing For More. No. 14 Virginia baseball begins a three-game series against Boston College today, with Game 1 tonight being played at Fenway Park for the 12th annual ALS Awareness Game.
The game carries special meaning for Bobby Whalen, who has help raise nearly $300,000 for Project ALS since best friend’s father passed away from the disease in 2015.

🔼 In The Blocks. Virginia track and field heads to Philadelphia this weekend, competing at the prestigious Penn Relays at Franklin Field.
The Penn Relays is the oldest and largest track and field competition in the United States, hosted annually since 1895.
🔼 The Show Goes On. No. 24 Virginia women’s golf’s season continues, as the Hoos have been selected as the No. 4 seed in the NCAA Cle Elum Regional in Cle Elum, Wash.
The selection into the NCAA Tournament is Virginia’s 18th in the program’s 21-year history, and the Hoos will be looking to advance out of the Regional and onto the NCAA Championships for the 14th time.
🔼 The Newest Hoo. Virginia women’s basketball head coach Amaka Agugua-Hamilton has announced the addition of Latasha Lattimore to the program for the 2024-25 season!
Lattimore spent the previous two seasons at Miami, where she shot 49 percent from the field for the Hurricanes.
