🔼 Not One, Not Two. Three is officially a streak - Virginia men’s tennis is the ACC champion for the third consecutive year.

The Hoos topped Duke 4-1 on Sunday to claim the title in Cary, N.C., getting singles wins from Chris Rodesch, Jeffrey Von Der Schulenburg, Ryan Goetz and Mans Dahlberg, while Alexander Kiefer was also close to finishing off his match when UVA clinched the win.

🔼 Our Commonwealth. Fly the flag, wear the colors, talk the talk - Virginia Athletics clinched the 2022-23 Smithfield Commonwealth Clash on Sunday.

Men’s golf was the clincher, as the Hoos finished higher than Virginia Tech at the ACC Championships over the weekend. Other sports to earn UVA a point this year are men’s soccer, men’s and women’s cross country, volleyball, women’s swimming, men’s and women’s tennis, men’s and women’s golf and women’s lacrosse.

🔼 Orange Peeled. No. 3 Virginia men’s lacrosse scored the first six goals of the game against No. 13 Syracuse, sucking out all of the drama early on its way to a 19-12 win.

Xander Dickson led the way for the Hoos, scoring seven goals and grabbing two assists, tying his career high in points.

🔼 Midwest (Not So) Nice. Virginia baseball dropped all three games of its weekend series at Notre Dame, including a Sunday doubleheader.

Casey Saucke was the bright spot for the Hoos, registering six hits over the weekend and scoring four runs.

Annabelle Xu, Hibah Shaikh and Sara Ziodoto all earned singles wins against the Hurricanes.
