The Hoos led 3-1 before the Seminoles came storming back to claim their first-ever ACC title.

🔼 Runners Up. Virginia women’s tennis suffered just its fourth loss of the season Sunday, losing 4-1 to North Carolina in the final of the ACC Championship.

The Hoos picked up wins over Notre Dame in the quarterfinals and Florida State in the semifinals to reach the championship match.

🔼 Top-5 Finish. After finding itself in a tie for 10th place after Day 1 of the ACC Championships, Virginia men’s golf battled back to finish fifth, shooting 1-under as a team.

Bryan Lee was the Hoos’ top finisher, shooting 4-under to place sixth individually.

🔼 Final Four. Virginia women’s golf advances all the way to the match play semifinal round of the ACC Championships on Sunday, falling to reigning champion Clemson, 3-2, in a match that came down to the final holes.

Amanda Sambach and Celeste Valinho earned wins for the Hoos against the Tigers.

🔼 Bee Sting. No. 10 Virginia baseball fell to Georgia Tech 17-12 on Sunday, snapping a streak of six straight series wins over the Yellow Jackets at the Dish.

Despite the loss, Griff O’Ferrall had a day to remember — the Hoos’ shortstop went 5-for-5 with two doubles, a home run and matched a single-game program record with five runs scored.

🔼 On Your Left. Virginia track and field put together a dominant weekend at Lannigan Field, winning several events and setting several personal-bests at the Virginia Challenge, its third home meet of the season.
