🔼 Governmental NIL Impact. Virginia’s governor, Glenn Youngkin, signed a bill Thursday that significantly changes the way universities in the state can operate with regard to name, image and likeness.

🔼 Pads Will Pop. We get to watch Virginia football tomorrow!
The Hoos are set to host their annual Blue-White Game Saturday at 2 p.m. at Scott Stadium, with admission and parking free to the public.

🔼 Championship Chances. Both Virginia men’s and women’s tennis are in Cary, N.C. this weekend with chances to bring home an ACC Championship.
The men clinched a regular season title with a perfect 12-0 conference record, while the women claimed a share of the regular season crown with North Carolina, sharing a 12-1 record with the Tar Heels.
🔼 In Position. Virginia women’s golf shot a 5-under par 283 on Day 1 of the ACC Championships, and is currently in a tie for third place at the tournament with North Carolina and Virginia Tech.
Clemson is at the top of the leaderboard heading into Day 2 at 10-under, with Wake Forest close behind at 8-under.
🔼 Teeing Off. No. 12 Virginia men’s golf is in Charlotte, N.C. this weekend to tee it up at the ACC Men’s Golf Championships as the tournament’s No. 3 seed.
Charlotte Country Club will host the event, which runs today through Monday.
🔼 Hoos And Hornets. No. 10 Virginia baseball continues its homestand this weekend, welcoming Georgia Tech to the Dish for a three-game series starting today at 6 p.m.
The Yellow Jackets are 7-8 in ACC play so far this season, picking up a conference series win last weekend at home against No. 16 Virginia Tech before falling to Auburn in a midweek contest on Tuesday.
🔼 Down To Duke. Winner of four straight ACC series, Virginia softball gets one of its toughest tests to date this weekend, traveling to North Carolina to take on No. 3 Duke in a three-game set.
The Blue Devils are winners of 10 straight games and sit at the top of the conference standings at 16-2 in ACC action.
🔼 Orange Crush. No. 4 Virginia men’s lacrosse has a top-10 road matchup this weekend, heading to upstate New York to take on No. 7 Syracuse tomorrow at 2 p.m. on ESPNU.
A win over the Orange (2-1) would catapult the Hoos (1-1) over them in the ACC standings.
🔼 Home Track. Virginia track and field is back at home this weekend for the third time this spring, hosting the Virginia Challenge at Lannigan Field.
The event will run today and tomorrow, at which point the Cavaliers will recognize the senior class.
🔼 One Of The Best. The Tewaaraton Foundation announced its 25 women’s nominees on Thursday, and Virginia’s Morgan Schwab made the list!
