🔼 Clinched The Clash. No. 6 Virginia women’s lacrosse found itself in a close battle with Virginia Tech on Wednesday, winning 14-12 to claim a win in the Smithfield Commonwealth Clash.
The Hoos were down 2-1 after the first quarter, but a 6-3 second quarter advantage gave them the necessary separation. Katia Carnevale scored five goals for Virginia, while Kiki Shaw was right behind her with four of her own.

🔼 Win Column. No. 10 Virginia baseball got back to its winning ways on Wednesday, beating George Mason, 11-5, at the Dish.
The top three hitters in the Hoos’ order — Griff O’Ferrall, Bobby Whalen and Casey Saucke — combined for seven hits and three runs, while Eric Becker and Jacob Ference each had home runs.

🔼 Postseason Pins. The postseason is here for No. 24 Virginia women’s golf, which earned the No. 5 seed in this week’s ACC Championships at Porters Neck Country Club in Wilmington, N.C.
The format of the tournament will be one round of stroke play on Thursday, Friday and Saturday before match play semifinals and finals on Saturday.
