Today, we're hanging with a quarterback-relief pitcher combo.
Good morning! Between spring football, baseball, studying and starting a line of merchandise, we’re starting to wonder if Jay Woolfolk ever sleeps. Whatever he’s doing, it seems to be working.
What else are we serving up in today's Brew?

🔼 Not Over ‘Til We Say So. We are hanging onto spring football like the kid who won’t let go of his dad’s ankle. In case you feel the same way…
🔼 Away In The Commonwealth. After a cozy eight-game home stand in which it went 6-2, No. 8 Virginia baseball is back on the road tonight at Virginia Commonwealth for a midweek matchup.
We’ll see if Jake Gelof’s road bat is as productive as the one he’s been using at home - the career leader in home runs at UVA hit seven long balls during those eight home games.
🔼 Midweek Momentum. Coming off a solid showing against Florida State over the weekend, UVA softball hosts James Madison this evening at Palmer Park.
The Hoos have won three straight midweek matchups, including a 3-0 shutout against Liberty last week. James Madison comes into Tuesday at 23-13 overall, winning a Sun Belt series against Troy last weekend.
🔼 Two Sports, Too Good. Virginia two-sporter Jay Woolfolk recently gave UVA fans a look into a day in the life of an athlete splitting duties between spring football and baseball.
