🔼 Hoos And Hokies. No. 6 Virginia women’s lacrosse wraps up its regular season today with a trip to Blacksburg to take on Virginia Tech in the Smithfield Commonwealth Clash.
With just one game remaining before the calendar turns to postseason play, the Hoos are one game back from both Notre Dame and Boston College for second place in the ACC, and are tied with North Carolina for fourth.
🔼 Center Of Attention. Virginia women’s basketball coach Amaka Agugua-Hamilton has announced the addition of Hawa Doumbouya to the roster for the 2024-25 season.
Doumbouya, a 6-7 center, spent her freshman season competing at Maryland.

🔼 Blanked In Blacksburg. Virginia softball couldn’t find the offense on Tuesday in its Smithfield Commonwealth Clash at Virginia Tech, falling 6-0 to the Hokies.
The Hoos collected just two hits — one apiece from Jade Hylton and Kelly Ayer.

🔼 Not Enough O. No. 10 Virginia baseball went on the road Tuesday at Old Dominion and never grabbed the momentum in a 7-4 loss to the Monarchs.
Old Dominion scored three runs in the first inning and another in the second to take an early 4-0 lead, and led 7-1 heading into the ninth inning before the Hoos scored three runs to pull to within 7-4.
🔼 Half A Dozen. For the sixth time this season, Virginia’s Dylan Dietrich has been named the ACC Men’s Tennis Freshman of the Week.
Dietrich went 2-0 in both doubles and singles play against Clemson and Georgia Tech last week to earn the honor.

🔼 The Honor Is Yours. After picking up a pair of top-30 victories this past weekend, Mélodie Collard and Elaine Chervinsky have been named the ACC Women’s Tennis Doubles Team of the Week.
Annabelle Xu was also honored, earning ACC Player of the Week honors after beating No. 9 Alexa Noel of Miami, her highest-ranked singles win of her career.
