🔼 The Wait Is Over. Virginia softball has a big one tonight, with rival Virginia Tech in town for a 6 p.m. first pitch in the latest iteration of the Smithfield Commonwealth Clash.
Both teams are in the middle of good seasons — the Hoos in fourth place in the ACC standings at 11-7 and the Hokies in third place at 14-4.
And not only are UVA and Virginia Tech right next to each other in the conference standings, three of their last four meetings have gone to extra innings.

🔼 Three Of A Kind. No. 11 Virginia baseball has its third matchup against Old Dominion today, this time traveling to Norfolk to take on the Monarchs.
The Hoos have taken the first two games of the season series and are yet to allow a run, with an 8-0 win back on Feb. 21 and a 4-0 triumph on April 2.
🔼 Hoos Honored. Virginia women’s swimming and diving did extremely well on Monday when ACC Awards were announced — Gretchen Walsh is the Women’s Swimmer of the Year, Cavan Gormsen is the Freshman of the Year, and Todd DeSorbo is the Coach of the Year for the fifth season in a row!
Walsh’s honor makes it five consecutive seasons a Cavalier has won Women’s Swimmer of the Year.

🔼 Swim The Globe. Virginia swimmers competed on three different continents over the weekend — we’ve got you covered with results!
🔼 The QBs. Virginia quarterbacks Tony Muskett and Anthony Colandrea each started six games last fall, and they’re competing for that top spot again this spring — hear from them both at spring practice!
