📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Game Week! The wait is almost over — Virginia football’s annual Blue-White Game is set for Saturday, April 20 at 2 p.m. at Scott Stadium!

The game is free to the public, as is parking at Scott Stadium and normal football game day lots. Gates open at 1 p.m., and fans are encouraged to use the West Gate for admission into the stadium.

🔼 Owned Overtime. In a game of swings between No. 11 Virginia women’s lacrosse and No. 3 Boston College on Saturday, it was the Hoos who ended up happy, scoring an overtime goal to beat the Eagles, 13-12.

A pair of freshmen — Kate Galica and Madison Alaimo — led the charge for Virginia, combining for seven points and scoring the final three goals of the game.

🔼 Happy To Help. Virginia lacrosse players Morgan Schwab and Connor Shellenberger are more than happy to assist people on and off the field!

🔼 Familiar Territory. No. 3 Virginia men’s tennis beat Georgia Tech 7-0 on Saturday, and for the fourth consecutive season, the Hoos have finished ACC play 12-0.

For Iñaki Montes, Chris Rodesch, Alex Kiefer and Jeffrey von der Schulenburg, that means a perfect 48-0 record in conference play during their Virginia careers!

🔼 Conference Champs. No. 5 Virginia women’s tennis picked up home wins against No. 19 Miami and No. 23 Florida State over the weekend, and claimed a share of the ACC regular season title in the process!

The Hoos wrap up the regular season at 12-1 in ACC play, the second time in program history earning at least a share of the conference crown, joining the 2014 team.

🔼 Got It Done. Needing a win Sunday to claim its fifth ACC series of the season, Virginia softball walked off NC State thanks to an Abby Weaver sac fly to do just that.

The Hoos fell behind 2-0 early in the game, but a Jade Hylton home run got them on the board in the fifth, and two sac flies from Weaver got them across the finish line.

🔼 Left No Doubt. No. 11 Virginia baseball scored 16 runs in its Sunday rubber match with Louisville, winning 16-7 to move to 28-8 and 11-7 in ACC play.

It was a weekend full of fireworks, with the Hoos scoring 47 runs in the three-game set against the Cardinals.

🔼 Early Hole. No. 2 Virginia men’s lacrosse fell behind 7-3 after the first quarter on the road at No. 3 Duke on Sunday and couldn’t claw its way back, losing 18-12 to move to 10-2 overall and 1-1 in ACC play.

Payton Cormier scored three goals for the Hoos, while Connor Shellenberger recorded a team-high four points with three assists and a goal.

🔼 Familiar Waters. No. 11 Virginia rowing opened up its home slate this weekend at the UVA Invite against No. 1 Stanford, No. 4 Cal, No. 5 Yale and No. 17 Oregon State, picking up a win Sunday in the Third Varsity Eight versus the Beavers.

🔼 Record Breaker. Virginia distance runner Gary Martin was back at it again this weekend, setting the 1500m school record in a blistering 3:37.66 at the Bryan Clay Invitational.

Additionally, many Virginia athletes performed well at the Virginia Grand Prix.
