🔼 Celebrating Championships. Hoos Giving Day, the Virginia Athletics Foundation’s Giving Day, ends today at 7 p.m. — the 34-hour period serves as a time for alumni, donors, fans, parents and friends to celebrate the 34 NCAA Championships in school history.

🔼 Tiger Fight. No. 3 Virginia men’s tennis got its weekend underway the right way on Thursday, winning 5-2 at Clemson.

The Hoos won the doubles point, and earned singles wins from Chris Rodesch, Jeffrey von der Schulenburg, Dylan Dietrich and Alexander Kiefer.

🔼 Golden Opportunity. No. 11 Virginia women’s lacrosse has a marquee matchup this weekend, hosting No. 3 Boston College tomorrow at 4 p.m. at Klöckner Stadium.

The Eagles are once again one of the top teams in the country, currently 12-2 overall and 6-1 in ACC play.

Saturday’s home game is Virginia’s last of the regular season, and will serve as Senior Day for the Hoos.

🔼 Road Rivals. No. 2 Virginia men’s lacrosse travels to North Carolina this weekend for a big one — the Hoos take on No. 3 Duke at 2 p.m. this Sunday.

The Blue Devils are 10-3 on the season but lost their last time out, a home game versus Notre Dame on April 7. Conversely, the Hoos carry a seven-game win streak into this weekend’s matchup.

🔼 Home Finale. No. 5 Virginia women’s tennis puts a bow on its regular season this weekend, hosting No. 19 Miami today at 4 p.m. and No. 23 Florida State on Sunday at noon.

Wins against the Hurricanes and Seminoles would ensure Virginia, which is currently 10-1 in ACC play, at least a share of the regular season conference title.

🔼 Last One. Virginia softball plays its final home ACC series of the regular season this weekend against NC State.

It will be a weekend full of celebrations for the Hoos — Friday is Virginia’s Strikeout Cancer Game, Saturday is Softball Alumni Day, and Sunday will serve as Senior Day.

🔼 Bird Ball. No. 11 Virginia baseball travels this weekend to always-tough Louisville for a three-game ACC series.

The Cardinals are 20-12 on the season, with 18 of those wins coming at home, including a sweep of No. 19 NC State last weekend.

🔼 Strong Field In The Water. No. 11 Virginia rowing hosts the UVA Invite this weekend against a strong field, welcoming No. 1 Stanford, No. 5 Yale and No. 4 Cal to Lake Monticello.

🔼 On Your Marks. Virginia track and field is at home for the second time this weekend, hosting a seven-team field for the Virginia Grand Prix.

Joining the Hoos will be Liberty, Marshall, George Washington, Navy, Seton Hill and William & Mary.

At the same time, Virginia will send a contingent to Azusa, Calif. for the Bryan Clay Invitational.
