Gelof’s home run was part of an offensive explosion for the Hoos, who beat Richmond 18-0. Harrison Didawick hit a grand slam in the fifth, and Ethan Anderson matched him in the sixth.
Virginia is back at home again tonight, as it takes on Mount St. Mary’s at 4:00pm ET. The Mountaineers are 15-15 heading into Wednesday’s game.
🔼 Let’s Have Some Fun. We can’t sit still. Not with real, actual football just three days away.
Until then, we’ll just watch this on repeat.
🔼 Four For James. Virginia men’s golf freshman Ben James recorded a first-place finish for the fourth time this season at the Lewis Chitengwa Memorial, tying Florida State’s Cole Anderson at 11-under for the top spot.

🔼 Shut The Door. Virginia softball broke open a 0-0 game in the sixth inning with a three-spot on the scoreboard, winning 3-0.
Jade Hylton got the scoring started with a solo home run, and Tori Gilbert followed with a two-run blast to extend Virginia’s lead.
Eden Bigham tossed her sixth complete-game shutout of the season in the victory.
🔼 Back-to-back. Virginia swimming & diving’s Kate Douglass was named the Honda Sport Award winner for the second year in a row, as announced by Chris Voelz, Executive Director of THE Collegiate Women Sports Awards.
