🔼 Two More For The Road. No. 3 Virginia men’s tennis wraps up its regular season this weekend, traveling to South Carolina to take on Clemson at 5 p.m. today before finishing the road trip with a match at Georgia Tech on Saturday.

A pair of wins for the Hoos, who are a perfect 10-0 so far in ACC play, would clinch a regular season conference championship. The Tigers are 3-7 in ACC play so far, while the Yellow Jackets sit at 6-4.

McCarthy is coming off a good week at the Valero Texas Open, where he birdied the final seven holes on Sunday to force a playoff with Akshay Bhatia, who eventually claimed the win.

🔼 Reunited And It Feels So Good. It’s been almost 20 years since Virginia head football coach Tony Elliott and Mike Adams first worked together at South Carolina State.

The two are now reunited in Charlottesville, with Elliott hiring Adams as the Hoos’ linebackers coach.

🔼 Sensational Student. Virginia women’s swimmer Gretchen Walsh works just as hard outside of the pool as she does in it — the junior has been named the ACC Women’s Swimming & Diving Scholar Athlete of the Year!

On top of Walsh’s honor, 35 Virginia student-athletes were selected to the ACC All-Academic Teams.
