🔼 Four More. We’ve got four more days. That’s like a blink. That’s like you get lost in your phone for a few minutes, you look up, and it’s here. Four days!

🔼 Feelin’ 22. Virginia baseball hosts Richmond tonight, hoping to extend its record home win streak to 22 games.

The Hoos are coming off a series sweep of No. 20 Miami, in which they outscored the Hurricanes 24-8. Richmond comes to Charlottesville with a 14-18 record, having taken two-of-three from George Washington over the weekend.

🔼 Second Spot. Virginia men’s golf sits in second place after day one of the Lewis Chitengwa Memorial at 18-under par. The Hoos shot 272 in Monday’s first round, and followed it up with a 278 in round two.

Pietro Bovari leads Virginia at 6-under through two rounds. Chris Fosdick and Ben James both sit at 5-under heading into the tournament’s final round, set to be played Tuesday.

Lewis Chitengwa was a two-time All-American at Virginia (1995, 1996) and turned pro in 1998. At the age of 26, he passed away as a result of meningitis. In 2015, he was recognized for his immense contribution to golf by being inducted into the Mercedes-Benz African Golf Hall of Fame.

🔼 Fire Fighters. Virginia softball has a chance to get back on track tonight as it hosts Liberty for a midweek matchup.

The Hoos are coming off a close series against Virginia Tech in the Smithfield Commonwealth Clash, taking one game from the Hokies and falling in extras in another. Liberty comes into the game at 25-13 and is riding a seven-game win streak.

🔼 Back At The Dish. Nick Parker was back on the mound this weekend, 15 days after a line drive struck him in the right cheekbone and left him lying momentarily motionless on the field.

🤔 HOOS TRIVIA

Long Ball. Jake Gelof hit two home runs on Sunday, tying him for the all-time Virginia home run record with E.J. Anderson at 37 round-trippers.
