🔼 Bragging Rights. No. 11 Virginia baseball picked up yet another midweek win on Tuesday, taking down VCU, 8-4, at the Dish.
Griff O’Ferrall was the catalyst out of the leadoff spot for the Hoos, going 3-for-5 with two runs scored and another driven in. Harrison Didawick joined in the production with two hits, two runs scored and three driven in.
Ten Virginia pitchers toed the rubber on the night, with Chase Hungate earning the win thanks to two hitless relief innings.

🔼 Bronze Finish. No. 12 Virginia men’s golf was paced by Ben James at the Lewis Chitengwa Memorial at Birdwood Golf Course, as the All-American shot a final round 4-under to tie for third place individually.
As a team, the Hoos finished in sixth place.
🔼 Match Point. No. 23 Virginia women’s golf fell in its third-place match against top-seeded Wake Forest at the NC State Wolfpack Match Play event on Tuesday.
Megan Propeck was the lone winner on the day, taking a 2&1 victory over Mimi Rhodes.
🔼 Pitcher’s Duel. One Liberty run in the top of the fifth inning was the difference on Tuesday, as the Flames held Virginia scoreless in a 1-0 win for the visitors at Palmer Park.
Mikayla Houge was tagged with the tough-luck loss for the Hoos but was excellent, tossing all seven innings, allowing just two hits and one earned run while striking out four.
