🔼 Down Goes Duke! No. 16 Virginia men’s lacrosse continued to roll over the weekend, snapping a 20-game regular season losing streak to Duke, beating the No. 7 Blue Devils in Durham, 14-10!
After trailing 6-5 at the intermission, the Hoos outscored the Blue Devils by five goals in the second half.

🔼 Winning Weekend! No. 4 Virginia men’s tennis closed the regular season home slate over the weekend with wins over No. 17 Notre Dame and Louisville, with the program celebrating its senior class during Sunday’s win over the Cardinals.
The Hoos are now 19-3 overall this spring and 11-1 in ACC play.

🔼 Two, Please! No. 9 Virginia women’s tennis improved to 10-0 in ACC play over the weekend, traveling to the West Coast and beating both No. 23 Cal and Stanford!
The Hoos, who are alone atop the ACC standings, close out the regular season at home next weekend against No. 68 Wake Forest (3-7 ACC) and No. 10 NC State (9-1 ACC).
On August 29, 2026, Virginia and NC State will take the field at Nilton Santos Stadium in Rio de Janeiro for College Football Brasil, the first-ever FBS college football game played in South America.

🔼 Conference Clash. After winning Game 1 of the series on Thursday night, No. 10 Virginia baseball dropped the final two games of its series against No. 7 Florida State over the weekend.
The Hoos are now 24-9 overall this season and 8-7 in ACC play.

🔼 Downed By Duke. No. 12 Virginia softball spent its weekend on the road at No. 23 Duke, losing three games to the Blue Devils to move its record to 31-6 overall and 9-5 in ACC play.

🔼 Tar Heel Tilt. No. 22 Virginia women’s lacrosse hosted No. 2 North Carolina on Friday, losing to the Tar Heels, 19-4.
Kate Galica won 15 draw controls for the Hoos, including 11 in the first half. The 15 draws ties for the second most in a single game in program history.

🔼 Broken Record! Virginia track and field competed at a couple different meets over the weekend, collecting five top-10 program marks at the Virginia Grand Prix and Will Anthony breaking the program record in the men’s 10,000 meters at the Stanford Invitational!

🔼 Leading The Way! Virginia women’s golf is through 32 holes at the Terps Invitational in College Park, Md., with Jaclyn LaHa owning the lead at 3-under!
The Cavaliers are in first place as a team after combining to shoot 3-under 573 in the opening two rounds.

🔼 For The Cup! Virginia men’s golf completed the opening round of the Calusa Cup at Calusa Pines Golf Club on Sunday, with Bryan Lee leading the way at 3-under.
As a team, the Hoos are 6-over and sit in seventh place.

Nick Hamilton earned the distinction for the third time in his career, while Griffin Gammell, Brenan Morgan, Michael Murphy, Jayce Paridon, Gable Porter, Emmitt Sherlock and Colton Washleski all earned the honor for the first time as Cavaliers.
