📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Coach ‘Em Up. University of Virginia Dean and Markel Families Men’s Head Basketball Coach Ryan Odom has announced the additions of assistant coaches Matt Henry, Bryce Crawford and Darius Theus to his staff!

The trio of assistants helped VCU to a 52-21 record from 2023-25 and an appearance in the 2025 NCAA Tournament.

🔼 Fun On The Road. No. 9 Virginia women’s lacrosse picked up its eighth win of the season on Wednesday, 14-5, at VCU.

Kate Galica scored four goals and added two assists to lead the Hoos, and added 10 draw controls. Addi Foster scored three goals to help boost the offense.

🔼 Talkin’ Ball. Virginia linebackers coach Mike Adams met with the media on Wednesday to talk about his group!

🔼 Suddenly Surging. In less than a week, the University of Virginia baseball team has gone from slumping to surging.

In its series opener against ACC newcomer Stanford last Thursday night, UVA won 11-8 to end a five-game losing streak, and Friday and Saturday brought two more victories for the home team at Disharoon Park.

Midweek games have proved uncharacteristically challenging this season for the Cavaliers, who lost to Richmond on March 19 and Liberty on March 25, but they built a 10-1 lead on Old Dominion on Tuesday night en route to an 11-5 victory at the Dish.

🔼 Lookin’ At The Leaderboard. Virginia women’s golfer Amanda Sambach put together a masterful first round at the Augusta National Women’s Amateur on Wednesday, shooting 5-under to sit in a tie for third place.

🔼 Right Down The Middle. Virginia baseball had some special guests throwing out the first pitch this week!
