🔼 King Of The Court! Virginia men’s tennis’ Dylan Dietrich has been named the ACC Player of the Year!
Additionally, Dietrich and Keegan Rice were named to the All-ACC First Team for singles and Andres Santamarta Roig earned third-team honors.

🔼 ACC Acclaim! Virginia women’s tennis had several players recognized by the ACC on Thursday — Annabelle Xu and Vivian Yang were named to the All-ACC Second Team for singles, while Yang and Melodie Collard were named First Team for doubles. Xu and Martina Genis Salas earned Third Team doubles honors!

🔼 Three More! As April winds down, the postseason for college baseball is almost visible on the horizon.
The bracketologists at D1Baseball and Baseball America posted NCAA tournament projections early this week, and each had Virginia as a No. 2 seed in a four-team regional.
UVA has 14 games left on its regular-season schedule to solidify its position, including three games this weekend at Pitt, which has the entirety of head coach Chris Pollard’s focus.

🔼 One Round Down. No. 2 Virginia men’s golf is through one round of play at the ACC Championships at Shark’s Tooth Golf Course in Panama City, Fla., sitting in eighth place at 3-over.
The top eight teams after the three-day, 54-hole stroke play competition advance to match play.

🔼 Dropped The Hammer! Virginia track and field claimed a pair of titles on Thursday at the Penn Relays in Philadelphia, with Jeremiah Nubbe and Charlotta Sandkulla winning the men’s and women’s hammer throw, respectively!
On August 29, 2026, Virginia and NC State will take the field at Nilton Santos Stadium in Rio de Janeiro for College Football Brasil, the first-ever FBS college football game played in South America.

Next Phase of Preparation Starting for Hoos. Virginia football completed its spring practices, with head coach Tony Elliott pleased with the team’s progress and depth. Despite losing key players, the Cavaliers added a strong transfer class and returning players are stepping into prominent roles. The team will continue to build on its progress with player-led and coach-led practices before fall camp.
