📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Momentum Builds. Virginia baseball stayed hot on Wednesday, beating James Madison, 12-6, in its second midweek game in as many days.

Chris Arroyo went deep and drove in three runs for the Hoos, while Luke Hanson also homered, walked three times and drove in a pair.

🔼 Postseason Tee Time. Virginia men’s golf begins postseason play today at the ACC Championships at The Club at Olde Stone in Bowling Green, Ky.

The first three days of competition will be a stroke play format before moving to match play during the quarterfinal and semifinal rounds on Sunday.

🔼 Tournament Test. No. 8 Virginia women’s lacrosse fell to No. 2 Boston College in the quarterfinals of the ACC Tournament on Wednesday, 17-7.

The Hoos held an early 2-1 lead against the Eagles, but an 11-1 run for Boston College put the game out of reach.

🔼 On The Right Path. Alex Riethmiller has an office with a view of one of the NFL’s most stunning venues. He rubs elbows with Roger Goodell. And each February, he attends the Super Bowl.

Not bad for a guy who entered college without much of a plan other than trying to walk on to the University of Virginia lacrosse team.

🔼 Another Round. Virginia women’s golf has been announced as a No. 2 seed in this year’s NCAA Tournament, and will host the NCAA Charlottesville Regional at the Birdwood Golf Course from May 5-7.

🔼 In The Trenches. Virginia football has signed Kentucky transfer offensive lineman Wallace Enamba!

Gretchen Walsh Earns Second Honda Sport Award For Swimming & Diving. The Honda Sport Award has been presented annually by the CWSA for the past 49 years to the top women athletes in 12 NCAA-sanctioned sports, signifying “the best of the best in collegiate athletics.” The recipient of the sport award becomes a finalist for the Collegiate Woman Athlete of the Year and the prestigious 2025 Honda Cup, which will be presented during a live telecast on CBS Sports Network on June 30, at 7 pm ET, in New York City.
