🔼 Tourney Time. The Virginia women’s lacrosse team faces Syracuse in the 2026 ACC Women’s Lacrosse Championship today at 2 p.m. The winner will face either North Carolina or Duke on Friday.

Juniors Kate Galica and Madison Alaima earned All-ACC Second Team honors.

🔼 Academic Weapon. Virginia women’s basketball guard Kymora Johnson was named to the 2026 All-ACC Academic team for the third consecutive season. Johnson, who averaged 19.5 points, 5.9 assists, and 4.5 rebounds per game, set program records for three-pointers and led Virginia to its first Sweet Sixteen appearance in 26 years.

Next Phase of Preparation Starting for Hoos. Virginia football completed its spring practices, with head coach Tony Elliott pleased with the team’s progress and depth. Despite losing key players, the Cavaliers added a strong transfer class and returning players are stepping into prominent roles. The team will continue to build on its progress with player-led and coach-led practices before fall camp.
