🔼 Super Dad. When his Richmond team was selected into the 2024 NCAA Tournament, Coach Aaron Roussell was coaching a youth travel baseball team, featuring his son. The family was on vacation in Jamaica when Coach Roussell was first contacted about the Virginia vacancy. Now, the youngsters, Riley, Kelsey, and Kendall, are wearing fresh Cavalier gear.

🔼 Starting The Weekend Early. No. 9 Virginia baseball starts the weekend tonight! They’ll host Clemson at 7 p.m. on the ACC Network.

🔼  Plan Accordingly. The 2026 Virginia Spring Game is this Saturday at 3:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public! A pregame fan fest will take place on the east side of the stadium with inflatables, vendors, live music, tailgate games, and more. After the game, players will be on the field for a Meet the Team event and autographs.

🔼 Going Clashing. The No. 21 women’s lacrosse team will play at Virginia Tech tonight at 6 p.m. The game will stream on ACCNX.

🔼 National Record Setters. Two Cavaliers are setting national swimming records! Sara Curtis broke the Italian record in the 50 backstroke with a 27.33 time. Aimee Canny broke her own South African national record and African Continental record with a 200 free time of 1:56.64. She also took silver in the 100 breast.

🔼 Simply The Best. Virginia men’s golf associate head coach Dustin Groves is a finalist for the 2026 Jan Strickland Award, recognizing excellence in coaching and academics.

🔼 Moving On. Former Virginia men’s tennis player Rafa Jódar is moving on to the quarterfinals at the ATP 500 in Barcelona! He will play again tomorrow.
