🔼 Makin’ Plays! In 2025, kicker Will Bettridge led the University of Virginia football team in scoring for the third straight year and set a single-season program record by making 24 field goals.
Bettridge is back for a fifth year at UVA, and offensive coordinator Des Kitchings is happy he’s still in the program. But Kitchings hopes Bettridge won’t be called upon to kick field goals as often this fall.

🔼 Midweek Magic! No. 10 Virginia baseball improved to 23-7 on Tuesday with a 16-2 win over Old Dominion in seven innings!
Sam Harris homered twice for the Hoos, with Kyle Johnson and AJ Gracia each touching ‘em all once. The trio also combined to drive in 14 runs.

Claire Curzan Named Finalist For Honda Sport Award For Swimming & Diving. The Honda Sport Award has been presented annually by the CWSA for the past 50 years, recognizing the top women athletes in 12 NCAA-sanctioned sports and symbolizing “the best of the best in collegiate athletics.” The recipient of the sport award will become a finalist for the prestigious Collegiate Woman Athlete of the Year and the 2026 Honda Cup, to be presented live on Monday, July 27, at 7 p.m. ET on CBS Sports Network.
