🔼 Four-Peat! For the fourth consecutive year, Virginia women’s swimming and diving was crowned national champion!

The Hoos scored 527.5 points, well ahead of second place Texas (441 points), and became just the third program to win four consecutive NCAA team titles in the sport and first since 1996.

🔼 Tiger Tamers. Virginia softball continued its momentum over the weekend, taking two-of-three at home against No. 11 Clemson to move to 7-5 in conference action.

Sunday’s 3-0 win on Sunday to clinch the series was the Hoos’ 20th victory of the season with Jade Hylton the star, as her fifth inning two-run home run stretched the lead to 3-0.

🔼 Last One. No. 4 seed Virginia women’s basketball saw its season come to an end on Sunday, losing at No. 1 seed Villanova in the second round of the WBIT, 73-55.

Camryn Taylor and Kymora Johnson scored 12 points each to lead the Hoos, who finished with a .500 record (16-16) for the second consecutive year.

🔼 Defense Dominates. No. 4 Virginia men’s lacrosse carried an 11-4 lead into halftime against Drexel on Saturday and turned the defense up even more in the second half, not allowing a single goal in a 14-4 win over the Dragons.

Payton Cormier provided plenty of offense for the Hoos, scoring six goals, while Connor Shellenberger, McCabe Millon and Griffin Schutz all registered three points.

🔼 Steel City Sweep. No. 14 Virginia baseball traveled to western Pennsylvania this weekend and swept Pitt, outscoring the Panthers 36-8 over the three-game series, including an 18-2 win in the series opener.

The Hoos now own a five-game win streak, and a 20-4 record overall.

🔼 Just Short. No. 9 Virginia women’s lacrosse went back and forth with No. 7 Syracuse on Saturday in a game that featured nine ties and three lead changes, but the Orange eventually pulled out a 15-14 win.

Katia Carnevale scored five goals for the Hoos, Kiki Shaw and Mackenzie Hoeg both found the net twice, and Kate Miller dished out four assists.

🔼 Top-15 Takedown. No. 4 Virginia men’s tennis took care of business on Sunday, winning 4-1 at No. 14 Florida State to kick off its two-match weekend in the Sunshine State.

The Hoos won the doubles point and collected singles wins from Jeffrey von der Schulenburg, Dylan Dietrich and Mans Dahlberg to seal the win.

Virginia is in Coral Gables, Fla. today to take on Miami in a match originally scheduled for Friday, March 22.

🔼 Still Rolling. No. 5 Virginia women’s tennis extended its win streak over the weekend, taking down Syracuse and Boston College in Charlottesville for its eighth consecutive win.

The Hoos are now 15-2 overall and 7-0 in ACC action, and haven’t lost in a more than six weeks.

🔼 Fresh Air. The Virginia track and field program celebrated the start of outdoor season this past weekend by setting 12 personal-bests at the Virginia Opener!

🔼 End Of The Road. Virginia wrestling put a bow on its season this past weekend, finishing up competition on Day Two of the NCAA Championships in Kansas City on Saturday.

Marlon Yarbrough (133 pounds), Nick Hamilton (165 pounds) and Justin McCoy (174 pounds) all fell on Day Two.
