🔼 Marching On. No. 4 seed Virginia women’s basketball extended its season on Thursday night, beating High Point, 81-59, in the WBIT First Round.
Five Hoos scored in double figures, led by Paris Clark with 14 points. Camryn Taylor (13), Alexia Smith (13), Sam Brunelle (11) and Kymora Johnson (10) joined her.
Virginia will travel to No. 1 seed Villanova on Sunday for a Second Round matchup.

🔼 Three Move On. Virginia wrestling is sending three wrestlers onto Day Two at the NCAA Championships, with Day One highlighted by Marlon Yarbrough knocking off No. 10 seed Aaron Nagao of Penn State.
Yarbrough, Nick Hamilton and Justin McCoy will all wrestle on Friday.
🤼 DAY 1 UPDATE: Three Hoos Advance To Day Two At NCAA Championships
🔼 Three More. Day 2 of the NCAA Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships brought three more wins for top-ranked Virginia — Gretchen Walsh in the 50 Freestyle, Alex Walsh in the 200 IM, and Jasmine Nocentini, Maxine Parker and the two Walshes in the 200 Free Relay.
🔼 Marquee Opportunity. Riding the momentum of a three-game win streak, Virginia softball hosts No. 11 Clemson for a three-gamer with a chance to earn some signature wins.
The Tigers are 21-7 overall and 5-1 in ACC play, with series wins over North Carolina and North Carolina State.
🔼 Slaying Dragons. No. 4 Virginia men’s lacrosse gets another home game tomorrow at 3 p.m., hosting Drexel in its penultimate non-conference matchup of the season.
The Dragons are 3-4 and are in the midst of a three-game skid.
🔼 Steel City Series. No. 14 Virginia baseball travels to western Pennsylvania this weekend for a three-game series at Pittsburgh.
The Hoos have split both of their first two ACC series, and play a Panther team that is 1-5 in conference action thus far.
⚾️ PREVIEW: No. 14 Virginia Begins Road Stretch At Pitt
🔼 Top-10 Again. No. 9 Virginia women’s lacrosse plays its second consecutive top-10 opponent tomorrow when No. 7 Syracuse comes to town, three days after the Hoos beat No. 6 James Madison on Wednesday.
The Orange are 6-3 on the season, and have won three straight.
🔼 Bacon, Eggs, Tennis. No. 4 Virginia men’s tennis gets its weekend kicked off early, playing at Miami this morning at 8 a.m.
After their dual against the Hurricanes, the Hoos will travel to Tallahassee to take on No. 14 Florida State on Sunday at 1:30 p.m.
🔼 Home Pair. No. 5 Virginia women’s tennis plays host to a pair of ACC foes this weekend, welcoming Syracuse to town today at 4 p.m. and Boston College Sunday at noon.
