🔼 Top-10 Dub. No. 9 Virginia women’s lacrosse jumped all over No. 6 James Madison early on Wednesday, leading 7-2 after the first quarter and cruising to a 12-8 win at Klöckner Stadium.
Freshman Jenna Dinardo was the catalyst for the Hoos, scoring a career-high five goals in the game. Maggie Bostain led the defensive effort with three caused turnovers and one ground ball.

🔼 Back At JPJ. No. 4 seed Virginia women’s basketball tips off its run at the inaugural Women’s Basketball Invite Tournament today at home against High Point at 7 p.m.
The WBIT is a 32-team postseason tournament operated by the NCAA, with first, second and quarterfinals matchups played on campus sites, and semifinals and finals played at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
🔼 Mat Time. Four Virginia wrestlers are set to begin competition at the NCAA Championships today in Kansas City — No. 13 seed Justin McCoy (174 pounds), No. 23 seed Marlon Yarbrough (133 pounds), No. 30 seed Nick Hamilton (165 pounds) and No. 31 seed Krystian Kinsey (197 pounds).

🔼 So Far, So Good. Top-ranked Virginia women’s swimming and diving got off to a good start on Day 1 of the NCAA Championships, winning the 200 Medley Relay, the ninth-straight NCAA relay won by a Cavalier squad.
🔼 Pass Catcher. After spending four seasons at Notre Dame, Chester, Va. native Chris Tyree came home to play for the Hoos in 2024.
