🔼 In The Dance. For the 26th time in program history, Virginia men’s basketball is going dancing!

The Hoos are a No. 10 seed in the Midwest Region, and will take on No. 10 seed Colorado State in a First Four game tomorrow at UD Arena in Dayton, Ohio.

🔼 Back Home. Virginia women’s basketball will get another opportunity to play inside JPJ this season, as the Hoos earned a No. 4 seed in the inaugural Women’s Basketball Invitation Tournament and will host High Point on Thursday.

🔼 Topped The Terps. In a highly-anticipated Top-5 matchup, No. 4 Virginia men’s lacrosse went on the road and took down No. 5 Maryland, 14-10, on Saturday.

Griffin Schutz was the man of the match for the Hoos, scoring four goals and assisting on a pair of others. McCabe Millon also had a standout day, putting together his fifth hat trick of his freshman season.

🔼 Walk-Off Winner. No. 17 Virginia baseball brought the dramatics on Sunday against No. 7 Wake Forest, battling back from a five-run deficit to earn a walk-off win in extra innings against the Demon Deacons to claim the three-game series.

The Hoos scored three runs in the bottom of the ninth to send the rubber match of the series into extra innings, and two Wake Forest errors in the 10th led to Virginia ending the weekend on a high note.

🔼 Offensive Explosion. No. 10 Virginia women’s lacrosse moved to 3-1 in ACC play over the weekend thanks to a resounding 19-10 home win over Pitt.

Katia Carnevale was fantastic for the Hoos with six goals and an assist, while Morgan Schwab scored three goals and assisted on three more and Jenna Dinardo added a hat trick of her own.

🔼 Series Dub. Virginia softball rattled off wins against Syracuse on Saturday and Sunday to claim its second conference series win of the young season over the weekend.

Solid pitching and a timely home run from Leah Boggs gave the Hoos a 2-1 win on Saturday, and seven runs in the first two innings on Sunday gave the series to the Hoos.

🔼 Extend The Streak. No. 3 Virginia men’s tennis moved its win streak to six matches over the weekend, sweeping Louisville 7-0 on Friday afternoon before beating Notre Dame, 6-1, on Sunday.
