🔼 Survive And Advance. It wouldn’t be the postseason without some late-game dramatics — No. 3 seed Virginia men’s basketball took down No. 11 seed Boston College, 66-60, in overtime on Thursday night to advance to the semifinals of the ACC Tournament against No. 10 seed NC State!
Jacob Groves led the Hoos with 15 points and 11 rebounds, while Reece Beekman also collected a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Taine Murray was the third Hoo in double figures with 11 points.

🔼 Rivalry Win. No. 5 Virginia women’s tennis pushed its win streak against rival Virginia Tech to 28 consecutive matches on Thursday, winning 6-1 in Blacksburg.
The Hoos won the doubles point and received singles victories from Hibah Shaikh, Annabelle Xu, Sara Ziodato, Elaine Chervinsky and Melodie Collard.
🔼 Top-5 Tilt. One of the best rivalries in lacrosse writes a new chapter this weekend, as No. 4 Virginia men’s lacrosse travels to College Park to take on No. 5 Maryland.
The two programs have played 80 times since 1959, Virginia winning 42 of those matchups.
🔼 No Wake Zone. No. 17 Virginia baseball is set for an important weekend, hosting No. 7 Wake Forest for a three-game set at the Dish starting today at 4 p.m.
The Demon Deacons, the preseason No. 1 team in the country, are 12-4 so far on the season.
🔼 Orange Juice. Sitting at 3-3 in conference action, Virginia softball looks to get back above the .500 mark this weekend with Syracuse in town for a three-game series.
The Orange are 12-9 on the season and have won four straight, but are 0-3 in ACC action.

🔼 Pitt In Town. The newly-minted top-10 Virginia women’s lacrosse team is back in Charlottesville this weekend, hosting Pitt tomorrow at noon for Youth Day.
The Panthers are 2-6 on the season, 0-3 so far in ACC play.
🔼 Come One, Come Two. No. 3 Virginia men’s tennis hosts a pair of ACC opponents this weekend — Louisville today at 3 p.m. and Notre Dame on Sunday at 1 p.m.
The Hoos have won four matches in a row since losing to No. 1 Ohio State in the ITA Indoor Semifinals on Feb. 18.

🔼 Down To Georgia. No. 13 Virginia men’s golf will be the highest-ranked team in the field this week at the 19th annual Linger Longer Invitational at the Great Waters Course at Reynolds Lake Oconee.
No. 14 Georgia Tech, No. 16 Alabama, No. 27 Georgia and No. 47 UNC Greensboro are the other ranked teams in the 14-team field.
