🔼 Down Goes No. 1! Virginia men’s lacrosse earned its biggest win of the season on Saturday in its ACC opener, beating No. 1 and previously-unbeaten Notre Dame at Klöckner Stadium, 11-9!
Virginia’s 11 goals tied for the most by a Notre Dame opponent this year. The Irish had held their last four opponents – the last three of which were ranked – to single-digit goals.

🔼 On Top Again! Virginia men’s swimming freshman Maximus Williamson won his second individual title of the NCAA Championships over the weekend, claiming victory in the 200 IM with a time of 1:38.45!
The Cavaliers finished in ninth place in the final team standings. This is the eighth time the program has logged a top-10 finish at the NCAA Championships, and the placing ties the second-highest finish in program history.

🔼 What A Ride. No. 10 seed Virginia women’s basketball’s NCAA Tournament run came to an end in the Sweet Sixteen on Saturday night, falling to No. 3 seed TCU in Sacramento, Calif., 79-69.
Paris Clark (20 pts, 3 ast, 2 stl) led Virginia in scoring, capping her collegiate career with back-to-back 20-point games in the Round of 32 and the Sweet Sixteen. Kymora Johnson scored 18 points while dishing out eight assists and pulling down four rebounds.

🔼 Get The Brooms Out! No. 13 Virginia softball improved to 31-3 overall and 9-2 in ACC action over the weekend, sweeping Pitt at Palmer Park.
The Hoos allowed just two runs over the course of the weekend while pushing 22 runs across on offense. Virginia has won seven games in a row and pushed its home record to 19-1.

🔼 Took Flight! No. 19 Virginia women’s lacrosse secured a come-from-behind victory at Louisville over the weekend to improve to 4-3 in ACC play, with Fiona Allen scoring four fourth-quarter goals in a 12-10 win over the Cardinals.
Allen totaled five goals on six shots, with Kate Galica adding four goals.

🔼 Double The Fun! No. 13 Virginia women’s tennis claimed a pair of big-time victories over the weekend, beating both No. 24 Duke and No. 5 North Carolina to stay perfect in ACC play at 8-0!
The Hoos, who are now on a nine-match win streak, have sole possession of first place in the ACC standings.

🔼 Fun In The Sun! No. 4 Virginia men’s tennis secured two more ACC wins on the road over the weekend, beating Florida State and Miami to push its conference record to 9-1!

🔼 Sunday Save. No. 9 Virginia baseball ran into a hot-hitting Boston College team over the weekend, dropping the first two games of the series in Brighton, Mass., before earning a win on Sunday, 3-1.
John Paone, Lucas Hartman and Tyler Kapa combined to allow just two hits in the Game 3 win.
