🔼 Message From The AD. University of Virginia Director of Athletics Carla Williams has put together a message for Cavalier fans on the current state of college athletics and the outlook for each of the athletics programs on Grounds — give it a watch!

🔼 Tourney Time. No. 9 seed Virginia men’s basketball begins play at the ACC Tournament in Charlotte today, playing No. 8 seed Georgia Tech at noon on ESPN at the Spectrum Center.
The Hoos and Yellow Jackets played once during the regular season, a 75-61 win for Virginia in Charlottesville. The winner of today’s game will advance to take on No. 1 seed Duke tomorrow at noon.

🔼 Wild Finish. In its first meeting with Maryland since the 2015 Super Regionals, No. 23 Virginia baseball took down the Terps thanks to a walk-off wild pitch, 7-6, in Fredericksburg.
Eric Becker and Luke Hanson both drove in two runs for the Hoos, Hanson'‘s coming on a two-run home run in the eighth inning.

🔼 Blank Page. Virginia softball shut out James Madison on Tuesday, winning 6-0 to improve to 18-7 on the season.
Julia Cuozzo (2.0 innings) and Savanah Henley (5.0 innings) combined for the shutout, with Henley earning her fifth win of the season. Bella Cabral collected three hits, including a home run, and two RBI to lead the Hoos on offense.

🔼 Dive In. Virginia diver Lizzy Kaye won the 1-meter competition at the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships on Tuesday, qualifying her in the event for the NCAA Championships!
Kaye will compete in multiple events at the NCAA Championships, having qualified in the 3-meter event on Monday.

🔼 Super Swimmer. Virginia swimmer Gretchen Walsh has been selected as the recipient of the Steve Guback Sportsperson of the Year Award!
The award recognizes an athlete, coach, team, administrator and/or individual who supports athletics and has distinguished themselves through outstanding athletic achievement during the 2024 calendar year.

Isaac McKneely Named All-ACC Honorable Mention. McKneely, who leads UVA in scoring at 14 points per game, ranks first in the ACC in 3-point percentage (41%), second in 3-pointers made per game (3.0) and eighth in minutes per game (34.5).
