📈 STOCK UP
🔼 Road Dub. A defensive struggle in the first half between Virginia men’s basketball and Boston College turned into a shootout in the second half, with the Hoos pulling out a 72-68 conference road win.
Reece Beekman was fantastic for Virginia, leading the way with 18 points while adding eight assists and five rebounds. Isaac McKneely scored 14 points, and Jacob Groves contributed 13 of his own.
📈 BOX SCORE: Virginia Men’s Basketball at Boston College
🔼 Worth The Wait. Despite being delayed a day and then some, Virginia baseball came ready to play against VMI on Wednesday, winning 16-4 to move to 8-0 on the season.
Jacob Ference had a career day, going 5-for-6 with three doubles and five RBI, while Harrison Didawick added four hits and four RBI.

🔼 Upset On The Mind. Virginia women’s basketball is once again out on the road looking for an upset today, traveling to Durham, N.C. to take on Duke at 7 p.m.
The Hoos and Blue Devils played earlier this season on Jan. 7, with Duke pulling out a 60-56 win at JPJ.
🔼 On To The ‘Ship. Virginia track and field will be well-represented at the 2024 NCAA Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track and Field Championships in Boston next weekend — Margot Appleton, Gary Martin, Conor Murphy and Anna Workman will compete individually, as will the men’s and women’s distance medley relays!
🔼 Choose Your Path. As a standout athlete at Roanoke’s Patrick Henry High School, Shannon Taylor had his choice of whether to play basketball or football in college.
He chose football, and he chose the University of Virginia, showing up to Grounds as a quarterback before making a switch to the other side of the ball.
