🔼 Best Of The Best. If you’re reading this, Virginia women’s swimming and diving just set another record!

The Hoos won their fifth consecutive ACC Championship over the weekend while totaling 1637.5 points, besting the mark set by the NC State men during the 2023 Championships.

Gretchen Walsh led the way, with seven gold medals on her way to being named the ACC’s most valuable swimmer.

🔼 Comeback Kids. Virginia baseball went 3-0 at the Jacksonville College Classic over the weekend to improve to 7-0 on the season, erasing a deficit in each game.

The Hoos trailed 4-3 in the 10th inning against Wichita State before winning 5-4, trailed No. 18 Iowa 6-0 after the first inning before beating the Hawkeyes 12-9, and trailed Auburn 2-1 after four innings in the finale before winning 6-4.

🔼 Yet Another Ranked Win. Virginia women’s basketball went on the road to Louisville on Sunday and took down the No. 20 Cardinals 73-68, its third ranked win of the season and fourth win overall in its last five games!

Camryn Taylor led the way with 22 points, and was joined in double figures by Kymora Johnson (18), Paris Clark (12) and Jillian Brown (11).

🔼 In Need Of Buckets. Virginia men’s basketball has been steady overall on the defensive end of the floor this season, giving up less than 60 points per game this season.

It’s the offense, though, that needs to find a rhythm with the postseason approaching.

🔼 Ranked Rout. No. 3 Virginia men’s lacrosse picked up its third win over a ranked opponent already this season on Sunday, beating No. 20 Ohio State 14-8 to improve to 3-0.

McCabe Millon was fantastic for the Hoos, scoring three goals and dishing out three assists.

🔼 Hoos At The Headquarters. The offense showed up in a big way for No. 15 Virginia women’s lacrosse in a 20-11 win over Cornell on Sunday in Sparks, Md., a season-high scoring output for the Hoos.

Morgan Schwab scored one goal and dished out a season-high six assists, while Katia Carnevale contributed six points and Mackenzie Hoeg had five points.

🔼 Lights Out. Virginia softball moved its win streak to six games over the weekend hosting the Rawlings Classic, allowing just one run over the four-game slate.

The Hoos outscored Lehigh 16-1 in the first two games of the weekend, before beating Iowa State 1-0 in nine innings early on Sunday and taking down Delaware 5-0 in the finale.

🔼 ACC Action. No. 6 Virginia women’s tennis opened up conference action this weekend with a pair of road duals, beating No. 21 Notre Dame 4-2 on Friday before taking down Louisville 6-1 on Sunday.

🔼 Postseason Push. Virginia track and field finished up its run at the ACC Indoor Championships on Saturday, with the men finishing fifth and the women seventh.

Both the men (64 points) and the women (50.5 points) scored more than 10 points higher at this year’s ACC Championships than last year.

🔼 Finished Up. Virginia wrestling wrapped up the regular season over the weekend, falling 35-7 to No. 23 Pitt on the road.

No. 28 Marlon Yarbrough (133 pounds) and Ryan Catka (heavyweight) picked up wins for the Hoos.
