🔼 Streak Ends. Virginia men’s basketball’s eight-game win streak came to an end on Tuesday night, as the Hoos ran into a hot-shooting Pittsburgh team and fell 74-63 at John Paul Jones Arena.
Reece Beekman scored 19 points to lead the Hoos, and Isaac McKneely contributed 15.

🔼 Silver In San Diego. No. 25 Virginia women’s golf finished second at the San Diego State Classic on Tuesday, one shot behind tournament champion South Carolina.
Amanda Sambach paced the Hoos, shooting 5-under for the tournament to finish in second place individually.

🔼 Led By Lee. Virginia men’s golf received under-par rounds from all five players in Tuesday’s final round at the Puerto Rico Classic, as the Hoos finished second in a competitive field.
Bryan Lee shot a career-best 9-under 63 in the final round to claim co-medalist honors at 15-under overall.
🔼 The Best. Virginia women’s squash’s Meagan Best has been named one of three finalists for the 2024 Betty Richey Award!
Top candidates for the Richey Award are those players who best exemplify the ideals of squash in their love and devotion to the game, their strong sense of fairness, and their excellence in play and leadership.

🔼 Like A Fish. Virginia’s Alex Walsh has been named the ACC Women’s Swimmer of the Week!
Walsh’s two swims at last weekend’s Cavalier Invitational both ranked in the top five in the nation this year.
