🔼 Comeback Complete. Down 58-52 heading into the fourth quarter at Syracuse on Sunday, Virginia women’s basketball outscored the Orange 18-9 over the final 10 minutes to earn an ACC road win, 70-67.

Latasha Lattimore led the Hoos with a career-high 26 points and six rebounds, followed by Kymora Johnson with 17 points, six rebounds, eight assists and four steals.

🔼 Down Goes No. 1. No. 5 Virginia men’s tennis bounced back from a Friday loss to No. 3 Ohio State with a win over top-ranked Texas, 4-3, on Sunday.

The Hoos were down 3-1 to the Longhorns before earning singles wins from Dylan Dietrich, Rafael Jódar and Stiles Brockett to clinch the victory.

🔼 Golf Gets Going. No. 11 Virginia women’s golf got its spring season started over the weekend in Mexico, finishing third at the Collegiate Invitational at Guadalajara Country Club.

Amanda Sambach paced the Hoos and finished third individually, shooting 5-under in the two-day event.

🔼 Pitt Trip. Virginia men’s hoops is on the road today, playing at Pitt at 7 p.m. on ESPN.

The Panthers are 14-7 overall this season and sit in eighth place in the ACC standings at 5-5 in conference action.

🔼 Wrestling Rivalry. Virginia wrestling fell to No. 10 Virginia Tech in the Smithfield Commonwealth Clash on Friday night, 36-3.

Reigning ACC champion Nick Hamilton was the lone winner for the Hoos, earning a ranked win at 165 pounds.

🔼 Top-10 Tilt. No. 5 Virginia women’s tennis lost for the first time this season on Saturday, falling to No. 7 Michigan, 4-2.

The Hoos earned the doubles point against the Wolverines, and Sara Ziodato won her singles match against No. 40 Lily Jones in straight sets.
