🔼 Win Away From Home. Virginia men’s basketball picked up its fourth ACC road win on Wednesday at Wake Forest, taking down the Demon Deacons, 83-75, in Winston-Salem, N.C.

Isaac McKneely had a big night with 27 points on 10-of-14 shooting for the Hoos, and was joined In double figures by Dai Dai Ames (14), Andrew Rohde (13) and Jacob Cofie (12).

🔼 Down To Dallas. Virginia women’s basketball begins its final weekend of the regular season today, traveling to Dallas for a 8 p.m. ET tipoff at SMU.

The Mustangs are 10-18 overall this season and 2-14 in ACC action.

University of Virginia student-athletes Eden Bigham (softball) and Griffin Schutz (men’s lacrosse) have been named recipients of the Atlantic Coast Conference’s prestigious Weaver-James-Corrigan-Swofford Postgraduate Scholarship, while Matthew Hunter and Ella Bathurst (women’s swimming & diving) have been tabbed ACC Excellence Award List honorees, the conference office announced Wednesday.

🔼 Even Teel. This marks the fifth consecutive season that UVA's baseball roster has included at least one Teel. First came Kyle, now a rising star in the White Sox organization, and then his brother, Aidan, who's starting in center field for Virginia this year.

🔼 Lead Lost. Despite leading No. 19 Navy by as many as four goals at one point, No. 11 Virginia women’s lacrosse fell to the Midshipmen at Klöckner Stadium, 14-12.

Kate Galica led the Hoos with a career-high four goals, and matched her career-high with 12 draw controls.

From WUVA Sports — “In October of 2023, Tucker Mullen, a member of the UVa men’s lacrosse team, learned of a congenital heart defect he possessed since birth, forcing him to get open heart surgery if he ever wanted to play lacrosse or be able to be physically active for the rest of his life. This story details the resilience and constant positivity Mullen brought to the situation and his eventual return to the lacrosse field.”
