🔼 Buckeye Ball. In a game that featured nine lead changes and a six-point deficit with 10 minutes to play, No. 15 Virginia men’s basketball once again completed a comeback on Saturday, winning 70-66 over Ohio State in the Nashville Hoops Showdown.

The Hoos have now won 22 games in Ryan Odom’s first season, the most by a UVA coach in their first year.

🔼 How Sweep It Is! Virginia baseball opened its season over the weekend with a sweep of Wagner, scoring a jaw-dropping 69 runs over the course of three games against the Seahawks!

Nine Hoos drove in at least two runs, with six hitters collecting at least three hits. Zach Jackson, Aiden Harris, Noah Jouras, Ryan Holmes and Will Mahala all homered.

🔼 Mark Your Calendars! Virginia football will play its Blue & White Spring Game on Saturday, April 18!

🔼 Ballin’ In The Bay. Virginia women’s basketball earned its 10th ACC win on Sunday, holding off Stanford at Maples Pavilion in Palo Alto, 75-69!

Kymora Johnson powered the Hoos to the victory, scoring 25 points while also recording five rebounds and four assists. Caitlin Weimar (12 points, eight rebounds) and Gabby White (11 points, nine rebounds) also had big games.

🔼 No Scores Allowed! No. 24 Virginia softball dominated in a weather-shortened weekend of action, outscoring its opponents 31-0 over the course of three games!

The Hoos beat Delaware State, 20-0, at home on Friday before traveling to Farmville, Va., on Saturday to pick up a pair of shutout wins over Longwood and Toledo. Virginia was set to play both Toledo and Longwood again Sunday, but weather canceled those plans.

🔼 Survive And Advance! No. 2 seed Virginia men’s tennis is into the ITA Indoor semifinals after picking up wins over No. 16 Clemson (4-0) and No. 6 Mississippi State (4-1) over the weekend in Dallas!

🔼 Terrapin Bout. No. 12 Virginia women’s lacrosse dropped a road contest at No. 6 Maryland on Saturday, 17-9.

Jenna DiNardo and Madison Alaimo scored three goals apiece to carry the Hoos against the Terps.

🔼 Spider Bit. No. 13 Virginia men’s lacrosse fell for the first time this season over the weekend, with an early run from No. 8 Richmond dooming the Hoos in an 18-12 win for the Spiders.

McCabe Millon finished with a game-high seven points on four goals and three assists.

🔼 Running Around. Virginia track and field had another successful weekend of competition around the country, setting several program top-10 marks!

Fralin Family Head Football Coach Tony Elliott announced the promotions of ShaDon Brown to cornerbacks coach and Joey Orck to offensive line coach.
