🔼 First Pitch! Virginia baseball gets the 2026 season and the Chris Pollard era started this weekend at the Dish, hosting Wagner for a three-game series beginning today at 3 p.m.!

🔼 Love And Basketball. No. 15 Virginia men’s basketball steps out of ACC play this weekend, instead traveling to Tennessee for a Nashville Hoops Showdown matchup against Ohio State tomorrow at 8 p.m. on FOX!

🔼 Movin’ Up! Virginia football head coach Tony Elliott has announced the promotions of ShaDon Brown to cornerbacks coach and Joey Orck to offensive line coach!
The program will also welcome back Jonathan Celestin as UVA’s assistant defensive backs coach and add Landon Martin as assistant offensive line coach.
🔼 Ranked vs. Ranked. No. 13 Virginia men’s lacrosse plays its first ranked opponent tomorrow, traveling to Richmond to play the No. 8 Spiders at noon!
Richmond got its season started with a 17-7 win over Robert Morris last weekend.
🔼 Rivalry Renewed. No. 12 Virginia women’s lacrosse hits the road this weekend to visit an old ACC foe, traveling to Maryland tomorrow to take on the No. 6 Terrapins at noon.
Maryland began its season with a 9-5 win over No. 13 Syracuse last weekend.
🔼 Out West. Virginia women’s basketball dropped a close game out on the West Coast to Cal late Thursday night, 64-58.
Tabitha Amanze led the Hoos with 14 points, followed by Sa’Myah Smith (11 points) and Kymora Johnson (10 points). The Hoos will stick around in the Bay area over the weekend, tipping off against Stanford on Sunday at 2 p.m. ET.

🔼 Workin’ On The Weekend. Virginia softball jumps into the second weekend of its season today, hosting Delaware State for the Hoos’ home opener at 1 p.m. before hitting the road to play in the Longwood Lancer Tournament the rest of the weekend!
🔼 ITA Indoors! Virginia men’s tennis has earned a No. 2 seed for this weekend’s ITA National Team Indoor Championships, and will face No. 7 seed Clemson today at 3:30 p.m. in Dallas, Texas!
