🔼 Another Top-20 Win. Virginia women’s basketball is starting to make a habit of this — the Hoos picked up their second top-20 win in a week on Sunday against No. 20 North Carolina, 81-66!

Kymora Johnson once again starred for Virginia, scoring 25 points on 8-of-12 shooting. Sam Brunelle (14 points), Paris Clark (14) and London Clarkson (10) also scored in double figures for the Hoos, who erased a 13-point deficit in the second quarter.

🔼 Make That Four. Virginia men’s basketball won its second consecutive road game and fourth straight overall on Saturday at Louisville, beating the Cardinals handedly, 69-52.

Ryan Dunn earned his second consecutive double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds, while Isaac McKneely, Jake Groves and Reece Beekman all scored nine points.

🔼 Onto The Next. It was a dominant weekend for No. 11 Virginia women’s tennis at the ITA Kickoff, surrendering just one total team point against Texas Tech and Georgia Tech on its way to qualifying for the ITA National Team Indoor Championship!

The same can be said for the No. 3 Virginia men’s team, which cruised through matches with Northern Arizona and Florida Atlantic to qualify for its ITA National Team Indoor Championship.

🔼 Fast Times. Virginia track & field had a fantastic weekend at the Penn State National Open, running several fast times to rewrite the UVA record books!

Margot Appleton set the Virginia women’s mile record on Day 1, running 4:30.87, which is also the fourth-fastest time in the NCAA this season.

On Day 2, the women’s DMR broke a school record that it set last season, and Gary Martin set the Virginia men’s 3000-meter record.

🔼 Flexing Its Muscle. Virginia wrestling was just about as dominant as it could be over the weekend, surrendering just six total team points combined in wins over Duke and American.

The Hoos blanked ACC foe Duke, 45-0, on the road on Friday night, before traveling to American on Sunday and winning 36-6.
