🔼 Rising Star. Fresh off a National Freshman of the Week honor, Kymora Johnson joined the Wahoo Central Podcast to discuss growing up near John Paul Jones Arena and her journey to the University.

🔼 Connect Four. Virginia men’s basketball looks to turn its three-game win streak into a four-gamer this weekend, as it travels to Louisville for a noon tip tomorrow.
The Cardinals are 6-13 on the season, with five of those wins coming at home. They are, however, riding a four-game losing streak into the Saturday matinee with the Hoos.
🔼 Kicking It Off. Both the Virginia men’s and women’s tennis programs are set to host the ITA Kickoff Weekend!
The men have a matchup with Northern Arizona tomorrow at noon, with FAU and Penn also in town to compete.
The women get Texas Tech today at noon, with Georgia Tech and Wisconsin rounding out the field of competition.
🔼 Comeback Cut Short. Virginia women’s basketball came roaring back in the fourth quarter against Pitt on Thursday night, outscoring the Panthers 20-9 in the final quarter, but the comeback fell just short in a 56-52 loss.
Kymora Johnson led Virginia with 17 points, seven rebounds and four assists, with 10 total Hoos registering points in the contest.

🔼 Headed To Happy Valley. Virginia track & field gets its first true test of the season this weekend as it travels to the Penn State National Open!
The Hoos will take six ranked individuals and two ranked relay teams to the two-day event, which will be streamed on Big Ten Plus.
🔼 Devils And Eagles. After a weekend away from the mat, Virginia wrestling is set to grapple twice this weekend!
The Hoos are in Durham, N.C. today to wrestle Duke at 7 p.m. before heading up to the nation’s capital on Sunday to take on American at 1 p.m.
The Blue Devils are 4-8 on the year, while the Eagles sit at 5-9.
