🔼 Orange Crush. Virginia men’s basketball executed exceptionally in its ACC opener against Syracuse at JPJ on Saturday, shooting 55 percent from the field in a 84-62 win over the Orange.
Isaac McKneely had a career day, scoring 22 points and knocking down six three-pointers.

🔼 Coming Home Happy. Virginia wrestling headed to Fargo, North Dakota on Saturday for a dual with North Dakota State, and came home with a big 21-18 win over the Bison.
The Hoos won four of the first five matches on the night before the Bison tied the match at 18 with one bout left. Ryan Catka clinched the win for Virginia in the 285-pound match, winning 8-2 over Devon Dawson.
🔼 Test Passed. Virginia women’s basketball passed its first true road test with flying colors on Sunday, beating La Salle 94-73 in Philadelphia to move to 6-2 on the season.
Kymora Johnson scored a season-high 17 points to lead all players, finishing a perfect 6-of-6 from the field.
