🔼 Definition Of Courage. Virginia running back Mike Hollins has been named the 22nd winner of the Capital One Orange Bowl-FWAA Courage Award.

Hollins, a graduate student at UVA, played in 11 games this season after surviving the Nov. 13, 2022 shootings that took the lives of three of his UVA teammates.

🔼 The Right Fit. Tim Connery committed to swim at the University of Texas when he graduated high school.

It’s hard to hold a decision like that against a guy — the Longhorns have won 15 NCAA team titles.

As it turned out, it wasn’t the right fit for Connery, who entered the transfer portal and quickly found that Virginia checked all of his boxes.

🔼 Softball Celebrates. Before everyone heads home for the holidays, Virginia softball got together to celebrate as a team!

🔼 Rowing For Paris. Virginia rowing’s Sky Dahl has been invited to the Paris 2024 Paralympic Selection Camp next month!

The camp will select athletes to represent the U.S. in the PR3 mixed double sculls and PR3 mixed four with coxswain at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.

Back At It. Virginia men’s basketball’s Reece Beekman is back at it, playing phenomenal defense yet again for the Hoos.
