🔼 Hoos Headed To Rio! Virginia football is headed to Brazil to open the 2026 season!
Virginia and NC State will take part in College Football Brasil, the first-ever college football game in South America. The two teams will open the 2026 season in a Week 0 matchup on Aug. 29, 2026, at Nilton Santos Stadium (Engenhão) in Rio de Janeiro.

🔼 Chatting About Charlotte. Virginia football head coach Tony Elliott joined the ACC Championship Head Coaches Teleconference on Monday to talk about the Hoos’ matchup against Duke this Saturday in Charlotte!

🔼 Sensational Student. Virginia kicker Will Bettridge has been named the recipient of the 2025 Jim Tatum Award, given annually in memory of the late Jim Tatum to the top senior student-athlete among the ACC’s football players!

🔼 Fantastic Freshman. Virginia outside hitter Reagan Ennist has been named to the 2025 ACC All-Freshman Team!
Ennist becomes the 24th player in program history to earn ACC All-Freshman honors. Her selection marks the first time that Virginia has had All-Freshman honorees in back-to-back seasons since the 2012-13. Current Cavalier Zoey Dood was named to the team in 2024.
