📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Back On Track. Virginia men’s basketball got back into the win column over the weekend, beating Holy Cross at John Paul Jones Arena on Friday, 67-41.

Andrew Rohde and Isaac McKneely both scored 13 points for the Hoos, who logged a season-high 20 assists on 24 field goal makes.

🔼 Weekend Clash. Virginia football’s season came to an end on Saturday, falling 37-17 to Virginia Tech at Lane Stadium in Blacksburg.

The Hoos, who won three games in each of their first two seasons under head coach Tony Elliott, needed a victory Saturday night to become bowl-eligible. The loss dropped them to 5-7 overall and 3-5 in ACC.

🔼 Marathon Match. Virginia volleyball fell in its regular season finale on Saturday in five sets to Boston College.

The Hoos finished the regular season with 21 wins, which is the most wins in a campaign since 2006. Their 11 wins in league play are the most by the program since 2013.

🔼 Close Calls. Virginia women’s basketball lost a pair of close games over the weekend to close out play at the Discover Puerto Rico Shootout in San Juan.

The Hoos dropped a one-point game against Washington State on Friday, and fell 71-66 to Wyoming on Saturday. Kymora Johnson scored 46 combined points in the losses to lead the Hoos in scoring in both games.

🔼 Wrapped Up. Virginia men’s soccer fell in the third round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday, 1-0, to UMass at Klöckner Stadium.

The Minutemen scored on a Virginia own goal in the 71st minute to earn the win and advance to the quarterfinals of the tournament.
